Digimon Survive has taken great strides to stand out from both its predecessor Digimon titles and other monster-taming titles, but one of the biggest changes from the classic formula is the branching narrative paths. Taking a leaf out of the book of games like NieR Automata, there’s more than one way to complete this adventure, but finding them all might not be so easy.
So, we’ve put this guide together ahead of time, ready to drop in all the different Digimon Survive endings as soon as we find them, making it easier to curate your own adventure from the off. This page will, of course, be absolutely teeming with spoilers for end-game content and plot, so if you want to save yourself for the first playthrough, maybe take a look at some of our other guides instead.

We’ve listed all five Digimon Survive endings below. Of course, this list is brimming with spoilers, so steer clear if you want to play with as little information as possible.
Moral Ending
If you opt for the “be true to my friends” option on returning to the Digimon world in part eight, and have generally answered questions morally, you can return to the Digimon world to save your friends. The big difference between this ending and the others on this list is that besides the bad ending, it’s the only way you can return to the human world without your Digimon friends, so it’s well worth playing a new game plus save to find the other endings.
Harmony Ending
If you follow the harmony route and select “save the world”, you might be surprised to learn that the ending of this path isn’t all too harmonious. In fact, if you take this path you are not only going to have to watch Miu die, but you will also see Kaito morph with Piedmon to form the deadly Boltboutamon. After defeating the Master’s spirit inside of Boltboutamon, the portal between the Digimon and the human world expands, leading the two to combine and you to return home with Agumon in tow.
Wrath Ending
The wrath ending gets as bad as you might think when you answer with “stay with Agumon”. Saki dies, and Aoi becomes something very different when she morphs with Labramon into Plutomon. Much like the harmony ending, this great change causes the human and Digimon worlds to fuse, but this time there’s much less discord between the two species, and only Kaito and Agumon can bring the two groups together.
Bad Ending
If you decide to not return to the world of Digimon in chapter eight, you can get cut your adventure short with a bad ending. After returning to the human world, Kaito returns to his parent’s home to hide from the dangers his friends are still trapped within, only for a mysterious portal to open in the sky, forcing an emergency evacuation of Kaito’s home. We don’t know what happens next, but we’re pretty sure it’s not good.
Truthful Ending
The only way to find the truthful ending of Digimon Survive is by first beating the game via either the harmony, moral, or wrath routes, and then beginning a new game plus save. You need to follow the moral route, for the most part, to keep all your pals alive to find the true ending, and we won’t ruin the contents, but it’s certainly worth the struggle to survive to see.
